Did you know mosquitoes have different shifts? Some are early risers, biting during the day, while others are night owls, striking after dark.
Mosquitoes that bite during the day include species like Aedes mosquitoes, which are known vectors for diseases such as dengue fever, Zika virus, and chikungunya. Aedes mosquitoes are particularly aggressive and can bite throughout the day, with peak activity during the early morning and late afternoon.
Mosquitoes that bite primarily during the night are often species like the Anopheles mosquitoes, which are responsible for transmitting malaria and Culex known to transmit West Nile virus. They are more active during the evening and night hours and are attracted to the carbon dioxide and body heat emitted by humans.
On the other hand, mosquitoes that bite during the day include species like Aedes mosquitoes, which are known vectors for diseases such as dengue fever, Zika virus, and chikungunya. Aedes mosquitoes are particularly aggressive and can bite throughout the day, with peak activity during the early morning and late afternoon.

I started using INZECTO Mosquito traps in 2021 when they were first introduced to our industry. I love this product as it was invented to protect deployed American soldiers. My first thought was if it can protect those deployed, surely it would help out around my home and our customers. I’m on my second round of these traps. I’m using six at a time around the house/deck because the mosquitos are so bad here in Florida. The situation has definitely improved. I’m hoping as time goes on I’ll be able to use less of them at a time – hopefully four. It’s the best option I’ve found so far to get rid of these insects. I learned about INZECTO through a pest control company who was at my place for another reason.
