āPrevention is better than cure. It seems obvious. I tried to find out who said it first. According to what I found online, it was a certain Dr. Ramazziniāan Italian physician from the 17th century who was born and lived just a few kilometers from where I was born. Perhaps the same concept had been expressed even earlier, but it made me smile to see how such an obvious principle has been ignored for so long when it comes to controlling vectors like mosquitoes. It is a matter of cultureāsince even the most basic knowledge of mosquito biology is often lackingāas well as a lack of strategic vision and appropriate tools and products. This is especially concerning when you consider that this is the animal responsible for more human deaths than any other, yet it thrives in every urban environmentāwith new invasive species like *Aedes albopictus* bringing new diseases to places once considered safe. At @inzectopestcontrol we strongly believe that Prevention is better than cure. Like Dr. Ramazzini so wisely saidā Enrico Levi. About the prevention,
in the latest issue @newsweek , the American weelkly magazine, features an article by Enrico Levi, INZECTO founder and CEO. Read the full article: https://www.newsweek.com/dengue-prevention-must-start-in-our-backyards-12577438

š¦ **Dengue alert ā Polk County, FL**
Polk County is the latest in the Tampa Bay area to report local transmission of dengue. The Florida Department of Health in Polk County (DOH-Polk) has confirmed a human case of locally acquired dengue and is working with Polk County Mosquito Control on inspections, treatments, and community outreach.
The mosquito responsible is a container-breeding species that reproduces in small amounts of standing water in private yardsāareas where only authorized pest controllers can access, not public authorities. Thatās why simple, safe, and long-lasting protective devices for residential and commercial properties are essential.
ā
Protect yourself and your property:
- Drain standing water weekly (buckets, plant saucers, toys, tires, gutters). Cover up: wear long sleeves/pants at dawn and dusk.
- Use EPA-registered repellents
- Install/maintain professional mosquito-control devices in yards and common areas.
Prevention starts at home and around your building. Small actions reduce risk for everyone.

I started usingĀ INZECTO Mosquito trapsĀ in 2021 when they were first introduced to our industry. I love this product as it was invented to protect deployed American soldiers. My first thought was if it can protect those deployed, surely it would help out around my home and our customers. I put Inzecto traps around our pool area and back porch, I was impressed and so was my family. We always have a problem with mosquitoes, especially around the pool area, but wow what a difference it made. I highly recommend getting Inzecto Mosquito Traps today!Ā

8 years in the pest control industry. I have searched for effective, environmentally friendly mosquito control that is affordable to the consumer. I foundĀ INZECTOĀ in 2021 and had superb results. Cost-effective, friendly on the environment, and did not endure a bite while enjoying the outdoors during mosquito season.

We have significantly less complaints about mosquito activity since addingĀ INZECTO Mosquito TrapsĀ to high mosquito activity areas. We typically have to fog the clubhouse, wedding area and driving range weekly due to mosquitoes and have not had request since adding traps. The traps are easy and effective to use.

I’m on my second round of these traps. I’m using six at a time around the house/deck because the mosquitos are so bad here in Florida. The situation has definitely improved. I’m hoping as time goes on I’ll be able to use less of them at a time – hopefully four. It’s the best option I’ve found so far to get rid of these insects. I learned aboutĀ INZECTOĀ through a pest control company who was at my place for another reason.
